Description
"Safest place I have ever lived in London"
"Location is very central, though, perhaps a bit boring"
"The flat is a bit old, but the living room is huge"
This is what I use to describe the flat, which I and my current housemate, (who is now moving out, he bought a place) have lived in, for the past 7 years. I am now looking for someone to take over his part of the lease.
You get:
a) a double room, with enough space for personal items, take video calls and WFH
b) a living room big enough to host small dinner parties (up to 7-8 people)
c) a clean, well maintained, fully furnished apartment
d) a friendly, considerate housemate
e) unbeatable location, 5 mins walk to the Tate Britain museum, 6 min walk to Pimlico Tube station (Victoria line), 17 min walk to St James' Park (Central & District lines), 35 min walk to Leicester Square
In return, you should be able to:
a) provide character references
b) prove stable income, or have assets to cover living expenses for at least a year
c) wash up promptly after every meal, keep common areas clean and tidy - this is important
d) pitch in to maintain the good working order of the flat - replace broken lights, replace the water filter, take out the trash, etc
e) handle pungent food - I am from South East Asia, and cook from time to time, so if you are sensitive to the smell of strong foods...
We have a cleaner that comes in once a week, and bills + council tax, wi-fi, toilet paper kitchen towels etc, means you can expect to pay an additional £250-350 per month, this comes up to around £1,400 per month, all in
This is a rare, long-term, stable, 'no drama' living environment, where relations with the landlord are excellent (we work it out directly with her first, *and then* tell the real estate agent)
More photos will go up by end of today (Mon 20 April)
I will do my best to respond to everyone, if you do not get a reply please accept my apologies in advance - otherwise, I am really looking forward to meeting you!
Kind regards,
Ryan
