I am looking for someone to take over the lease on a lovely room in Westminster/Pimlico from the start of June :). There is some flexibility in this date. Ideally aiming for the weekend of the 6th/7th June.
Having absolutely loved living in this flat since 2017, I am moving out to live with my partner.
It's a friendly flat, sociable while respecting each others' privacy. Currently, the flatmates work as a diplomat, a technical coordinator for a housing developer and a semiotician.
Location:
The flat is situated between Pimlico tube statio (10 min walk), Victoria station (15 min walk) and Westminster tube station (15 min walk). Trafalgar square, Covent garden and Oxford street and are all within 30 min walking distance. This location allows great access to the District, Victor, Jubilee and Circle lines as well as regular bus services to all over London. Victoria is our closest high street and where we both go to the supermarket and gym. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs to visit.
The flat:
The flat is fully furnished and equipped, including fridge freezer, washing machine/dryer and dishwasher. It is finished to a good spec and designed to a colourful modern style. There is a wide selection of kitchen equipment and cooking utensils in the flat. There is a small dining table in the kitchen as well as a larger table in the living room. The living room has a tv, tv unit, table, chair and a sofa bed that can be used for guests.
The room:
Includes a double bed, very large wardrobe and a bed side table. There is one bathroom in the flat fitted with sink, mirror, heated towel rail/ radiator, shower and bath (plus an electric toilet).
The flat is located within a 6 story courtyard with secure entrance to the courtyard and the stair case.
The cost:
Rent is currently £873 per month plus roughly £85 on bills. The flat is rented through a managing estate agents and there is a deposit of £875 to pay. The managing agents are responsive to queries. Please note the agent will ask for proof of employment and a reference.
NB: There is another room going in the flat since another flatmate has just bought a flat and is moving out late May :).
