## INFO ON THE CURRENT FLATMATE ##

Hi 😊
I'm Sergio and I'm a professional working for a quantitative trading company where I develop mathematical models to trade on financial markets (I'm a computer engineer and applied mathematician).

I'm looking for a new flatmate for the house I'm currently renting in Pimlico (SW1V), given that my flatmate is moving to the US for an MBA, after 4y living together 😢
I would love to find a nice guy/gal to share the house, and keep the feeling of a warm and friendly place, where we can spend some time together but also have our own privacy and space.

To write a bit more about myself, I'm Italian 🇮🇹 but I have moved around a bit as I have lived in different Continents/Countries (for work and study): Italy, obviously, but also South Korea 🇰🇷, the USA 🇺🇸 (New York) and Germany 🇩🇪 (Frankfurt). Actually, this is my 3rd time living in the UK/London 🇬🇧 (few relocations from abroad). I have also travelled around quite a bit for leisure but I'll keep the full list of Countries for a good conversation when we meet 😉

I'm very down to earth, clean and tidy, almost a Marie Kondo/OCD type for tidiness, but I've learnt to be more flexible in that regard given that extreme tidiness is time-consuming and life is too short to waste it by constantly moving stuffs around 😝. But still, in the end I'm a mathematician and perfectionist so precision is my thing and you can be sure you'll never (and I repeat never) find any mess left by me.

I'm also sporty (gym-weight training/running) and into healthy habits like having an healthy diet, tracking macros/calories 🥗, taking (lot of) supplements, cooking (lot of chicken and broccoli 🙄), etc..
Mind you that, despite I'm quite strict with my diet, I do enjoy cooking nice meals and food together on the weekend or for particular occasions.

I spend most of my time working for my company and the rest is dedicated to my interests like finance/trading/investing (I worked as a discretionary trader for an investment bank in the past as well as for a central bank) and keeping up with World news.
My other interests are: science/technology/emerging technologies/startups and in particular mathematics/machine learning/data science competitions/software engineering/fintech, fitness/running/healthy eating/transhumanism, self-help/personal development, cultural events/places... so many things 🤯

Not that I have much free time to relax but when I do (mostly over the week-end) I love to have a nice conversation around interesting topics (even better with a glass of wine 🍷 or a beer at hand... making sure I "forget" tracking the calories in MyFitnessPal 😂).
Apart from this (still over the week-end) I love to explore London by visiting museums 🏛 and other nice places, or go to the cinema, so if you're keen you can join me.

As you can see I have quite a number of interests and I really love to push myself hard in whatever aspect of my life to live it to the fullest. Hopefully this is not going to scare you as I am very respectful of other people needs and habits 🤗
