Big room in victorian house

Hi there,

My partner and I are looking for someone to take over this large Victorian room with a seperate private bathroom! It’ll be a contract takeover for the month of September and then you’ll have the opportunity to sign on to your own 12 month contract from October.

This is a lovely double room, fully furnished with standing desk and lots of space. Couples are welcome as the room is quite large. You’ll be living with another lovely couple from Portugal who are in the upstairs room. They are friendly but mostly keep to themselves.

You’ll have your own bathroom, with the exception of a shared loo. The kitchen has everything you need and lots of storage space. There’s a brand new washing machine, toaster, kettle, vacuum and a dryer. There’s also a shared space/living room in the flat with extra room to hang out in!

There’s location is great and we loved being so well connected! 10-12 min walk to Clapham North or Brixton tube station (Victoria and Northern lines). Clapham Common and Brockwell park are also really close for a park break. There are also lots of shops, cafes and a Lidl + Tesco right across the road, however, the street you’ll be on is super quiet.

Things to note:
You’ll have to pay the £1200 rent and then a £1200 deposit for the month takeover, but it’ll be put into a DPS and you’ll get it back at the end of the month.

For signing on to the new contract, the rent is subject to a 12.5% increase.

You’ll need to earn minimum £36,000 (individually or as a couple) to be able to sign on.
