About the current flatmates
Josh (he/him), 29, full-time creative (mon-fri).
Josh, cat dad from Kent, works full-time in arts marketing as well as freelancing for Art Refuge and as a Welfare Monitor at Joyride Rave. He’s lived in the flat for a year+. As an outgoing and queer character, he equally enjoys finding time to chill and settle into a book or a new series. His main passion’s music and visual arts and is often checking out gigs, exhibitions, cafes and green spaces. He can also be found running around the commons or playing squash.
Josh tends to work 2 days a week in the office, and remotely the rest of the week (including WFH).
Tom (he/him), 31, full-time plumber (mon-fri).
Tom’s Australian and has poured a lot of love and efforts into the flat and over his year&1/2+ of being a tenant and has transformed the space from nothing. Tom enjoys cooking, yoga and is a keen plant dad. You’ll often find Tom visiting markets and boot fares all around London and he enjoys travelling and seeing new sights.
Haku (he/they), going on 12, full-time diva.
Haku hails from Bethnal Green and makes the home a delightful, friendly and warm space to be. He’s his own boss, but regularly enjoys cuddles, Dreamies, playtime, ventures outside and soaking up the sunshine.
We tend to keep ourselves to ourselves but also act as a support network. We regularly chat, catch up over cooking and occasional drinks in the garden. Although we’re social, we equally enjoy walking around the flat with our headphones on and in our own little world from time-to-time and respect one another other’s presence.
About you
We’re looking for a creative, working professional to join our cosy home. As a neurodiverse space, it’s important we keep the space clean, tidy and an organised and safe space. We are looking to be joined by an empathetic housemate who shows respect and care to the home environment. Ideally you’ll be willing to support caring for Haku when Josh is away.
