Description
I’m looking for a flatmate to take a small double room in a furnished 2-bed flat on a quiet residential street just off Brixton Hill.
The flat’s got two good-sized double bedrooms, a cosy living room, a modern kitchen, and a bathroom. The room itself comes with a double bed, drawers and a wardrobe.
Rent doesn’t include bills. Council tax is Band D, and gas/electric/internet currently come to around £200 a month (give or take, depending on usage). There’s also a TV licence paid annually. The agency will need to run references/finance checks and there’s a one-off £50 contract fee.
The lease would start from 1 June, but there might be a bit of flexibility around move-in dates.
A bit about me: I’m a female working in publishing, usually WFH 2–3 days a week. I’m pretty easygoing — into cooking, music and travelling (nothing too wild!).
Looking for someone friendly and considerate who’s easy to live with. It’d be nice to have the occasional chat, drink or shared dinner, but also totally fine doing our own thing. Definitely not a party flat, but having a few friends over now and then is always welcome.
Am aiming to do most viewings next Saturday (15 May), but can be a bit flexible if you can’t make that day.
(Photos are from the original listing as things are a bit chaotic mid-move right now — the setup’s slightly different! I’ll upload more up-to-date photos once things are a bit less messy.)
