Description
Hi! I’m currently in the process of applying for internships abroad and need to sublet my room while I’m away. The internship would last a minimum of 3 months with the possibility of extending to 6 months.
About the room:
• Double bed
• Big wardrobe
• Bedside table
• Big mirror
• Tall window
Even though this room is not the biggest, it is a very nice room to come back home to. During the day, the tall window provides a lot of sunlight, and since it’s a quiet neighborhood, it is very cozy and nice to chill in.
The rest of the house and housemates:
The kitchen, bathroom, and living room are shared among us three. We all actively try to maintain all areas clean by wiping surfaces after use, hoovering, etc. Both flatmates will occasionally work from home, so respecting this by keeping noise to a minimum is a must. Visitors and pre’s are fine as long as you clean up after, and again, keep noise to a minimum if one of the flatmates is working the next day or is going to bed early. We usually ask in our group chat if it is okay to bring people over.
Area:
As mentioned, this is a very quiet area. We have a big Sainsbury’s 0.3 miles away (approx. 7 mins to walk) and a Tesco Express 0.2 miles away (approx. 5 mins to walk). There are also parks, restaurants, pubs, and corner shops all around the house.
Transport:
As mentioned, I would say it is a very well-connected area, as there is an underground and overground station within walking distance and a bus stop just outside the house.
Taxes:
Taxes are not included in the rent. Taxes and extra fees are usually around £100.
Ideal new flatmate:
I am looking for someone respectful and friendly. I am lucky enough to have flatmates and a landlord that are accepting of my decision so I do not want someone that will disturb the 'peace' the house.
