Double room in Oval/Stockwell area for 4 months

Hey there!

My friend is going on a secondment to Spain and I’m looking for someone to fill the spot in our 2-bed flat in Oval/Stockwell from mid-Jan until mid-May (start date flexible). There may be +2 months available (tbc). The flat is located in the Oval Quarter, which is a super quiet and relatively new build based on the ground floor with a private garden and a terrace. The bedroom is spacious, has an in-built wardrobe and direct access to the terrace. The room comes furnished including a desk and desktop screen (can be removed). There is also a storage room, a communal bike shed and loads of plants around the flat. There are plenty of cafes, shops, easy access to three tube/rail stations (Oval, Stockwell, and Brixton - 10-15 mins walk away in order of distance) - so it’s all pretty convenient. Brockwell Park and Clapham Common are both within less than 30 minutes walk (which I tend to do get some steps in listening to a podcast!), and London Bridge is approx 45 mins away too. There are two mid-sized green spaces within 30 seconds away from the flat.

About me: I’ve lived here since Sept 21, currently work in a bank as a lawyer. My lifestyle is pretty busy and I tend to work late. Somehow, I do manage to have a pretty good social life and enjoy regularly catching-up with friends for gym workouts, brunches, lunches and dinners & the occasional city breaks away! Other than the odd occasion, my clubbing/drinks days are pretty much over and I now enjoy a wholesome vibe and appreciate that in others.

Rent will be approx 1,200£. All bills including fortnightly cleaning come up to approx. £280. If you had a cat or a small dog that should be fine.
