Description
I'm moving out since the property is being sold and the new owner may decide to give a 2 month notice at any time to vacate. Its not sold yet far as I know but I'm not taking that risk. You may want to risk it or not, up to you but you'll have 2 months notice to vacate and find a new place if that happens.
It took me 2 continuous months of searching to find this place and firmly believe its the best if not the best room in terms of size, location and price.
Here are the specs without any of the colourful estate agent language we all hate:
- Large 9.7m2 room (9.1m2 of room and 0.6m2 of wardrobe space).
- Balcony as well if you wish to store anything out there with a decent view down to the open grass area, trees, squirrels, pigeons etc. below)
- ALL bills included, none of that like partial bills included.... or only offering the cheapest bills and tryna hope people don't notice you just left out the two most expensive ones etc.
- Room wall is not shared with any other housemates, only the flat next door. Next door flat swears and shouts a lot but generally put some tv on and its ok.
- 1 toilet, 1 separate bathroom. Shower pressure is ok, bathroom isn't the cleanest but its usable. Bear in mind if anyone flushes the toilet or uses the kitchen sink downstairs the shower pressure will be interrupted and turn off as those water lines are linked for some dumb reason.
- Current housemates: First floor 1 italian woman (~30s) who works night shifts in security, and ground floor 1 chinese woman (~20s). Both keep to themselves and I can go weeks without even encountering them so you've hit the jackpot if you like keeping your social encounters to the minimum.
- Small kitchen, some of the stove tops are terrible and using it regularly results in power being tripped.
- No living room
- Washing machine, works fine.
- Fridge freezer, works fine.
- Double glazed windows
Furniture that comes with the room:
- Wardrobe closet
- Drawers
- 4-part waist-height square shelving unit
- Single Ottoman bed (this is mine I'll probs leave here cos my new place has a bed in. Also this bed is missing screws and will likely break soon so I'd def buy your own bedframe at least and you can use the mattress unless you want to buy a double).
- Available 21st October onwards
- £900/month. All bills included. (this is currently £725/month but I am not sure what the rent will be pushed to so be prepared to pay up to £900... dont mention this to the agent though)
Message me with your email and phone number and I will forward you to the agent for referencing.
Thanks
