Description
Spacious room with queen-sized bed in a 3 person flatshare, within a couple mins walk of Holloway Road station and 8 mins walk to Highbury and Islington - a bargain for £740/month (rent).
Room has a queen-sized bed (makes all the difference as I’m a tall guy) and a built-in wardrobe with storage cupboard space above. The room is 3.89m x 2.89m (12’9 x 9’6) and is big enough to fit in a large desk and large set of draws. Ceilings are high and the window is large letting in a lot of light. There are two shelves, giving more storage options. Heating pipes in the room mean that you'll be kept cozy during the winter and you can get a good breeze going across the room during the summer. Heating in the flat is very responsive as well.
The area is fantastic. So close to the tube and the choice and quality of restaurants on Holloway Rd & Upper St means that you’ll never have far to go to eat out. If you want to eat in there are a selection of supermarkets such as Tesco, Sainsburys and Waitrose just on your doorstep. Stunning Highbury fields is only a 15 min walk away and it’s well worth exploring nearby Stoke Newington and Finsbury Park. A 15min cycle away is Camden where you can check out camden market along with its vibrant canals and nightlife.
The flat is on the 2nd floor and with a buzzer at the ground floor entrance so you always feel secure. The flat has a separate toilet and bathroom and having an electric shower means that hot water is always readily available. The kitchen is very functional having an oven, gas hobs, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, and combined washing machine and drier. The huge living room measuring 6.44m x 3.91m (21’2 x 12’10) has three large windows letting in a lot of light and is a great space for games night and watching movies.
The other two flatmates are friends and have professional jobs. We all have our own lives but also socialise now and again - lockdown has involved a lot of pizza, beer, quiz nights and games.
I’m moving out to move in with my better half, aiming for late Aug / early Sept but can be flexible depending on your move date. Let me know if you’re interested and we’ll set up a viewing.
In terms of bills, council tax comes to £43/month and then electricity, water and internet comes to another £38/month.
