Hello! 👋 I’m looking for a new flatmate to join me in a bright 2-bed flat on a quiet street just off Holloway Road (N7 6EE) as my flatmate Melissa is moving out.
It’s a peaceful home with great transport links, ideal for someone who wants a calm space with friendly vibes.
📍 Location
2–3 min walk to Holloway Road Station (Piccadilly Line)
10 min to Drayton Park or Finsbury Park
19 min to Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line / Overground)
Loads of buses + shops, cafés and supermarkets nearby, but the street itself is quiet and residential.
🛏️ The Room & Flat
Small but bright double bedroom – £1,050 pcm + bills (~£63 each for gas/electricity + internet).
2-bed flat with:
• Spacious and bright living room (new sofa and furniture coming soon)
• Fully equipped kitchen
• 1 shared bathroom
The apartment is rented unfurnished. Most of the current furniture in the living room will be removed before move-in. New couch & other furniture coming soon & we can discuss other shared furniture.
The room comes with a bed frame, mattress, bedside table and dresser (which you can buy from Melissa). The big wardrobe and grey reading chair will be gone.
Accessibility: First floor – stairs only (no lift).
💸 Other Costs
Council tax: ~£200/m total for professionals (25% discount if you're living with a student)
Deposit: £1,040
Water bill: £100 total to cover until March 2026 (paid upfront)

You’ll be living with Rawda, a queer Egyptian PhD student in Gender Studies (LSE). She’s friendly, calm, and values a clean home and respectful boundaries. She’d love someone progressive, queer-friendly and community-minded.

Move-in: From 24 Oct (flexible by a week or so)

Viewings: From 17 September – evenings and weekends preferred
