Description
We’re looking for a new flatmate to rent a room as part of an existing tenancy in a three-bed, split-level flat in Maida Hill.
The flat is spacious and well-furnished, with a separate living room and kitchen on the first floor and three bedrooms and large bathroom upstairs. The first floor also has a toilet and storage space.
The bedroom available has a double bed, desk and large fitted wardrobe with a large window and good central heating.
The living room is large and includes a coffee table, two sofas, a 55” 4K TV and games console. A balcony off the living room gets sun throughout the day and has a table and chairs. The kitchen has a new oven and hob, a new washing machine, a large fridge-freezer and plenty of storage.
The flat is around ten minutes’ walk from Westbourne Park station (Circle and Hammersmith & City lines) and 15 minutes’ walk from Maida Vale station (Bakerloo line).
The flat is perfectly placed for us to enjoy the cafes and restaurants of Maida Vale, Queen’s Park and Notting Hill. We are very close to Paddington Recreation Ground which has an excellent gym, outdoor sports facilities and plenty of green space to relax. There is a large Co-op nearby as well as smaller convenience stores.
The flat is part of a leafy housing estate near Maida Hill. As the building is only four stories tall, it doesn’t feel too crowded and there are no noise or disturbances. Locked gates either side of the street keep it safe at all hours.
The current tenants, with whom you’ll share the flat, are long-term friends Marc (33) and Jacob (30). We both work in the Civil Service. Jacob enjoys hockey and plays regularly at Paddington Recreation Ground while Marc enjoys live music and theatre and attends a local church.
We enjoy spending time in the flat together cooking, watching movies and playing video games or board games and hope to do the same with our new flatmate.
Central heating and hot water are included in the rent. Estimated monthly bills per person include: £15 for electricity, £22 for water, £5 for gas, £5 for TV license, £22 for council tax and £7 for broadband.
Please note that we own some of the shared furniture and equipment such as the TV, coffee table, coffee machine and balcony furniture. You’re welcome to use it but it’s not officially part of the tenancy.
