Hi! I’m Alex, and I work as a freelance photographer - I typically shoot interiors, properties, architecture etc. My current housemate is leaving to move in with her partner, and so I am looking for someone to move in to her room in my flat.
The Area:
The flat is a lovely 2 bed in a beautiful block of red brick mansion flats, built some time around 1900, nestled in leafy Maida Vale. Barely a 5 minute walk from the tube station (Maida Vale, Bakerloo line) and 10 minutes to the picturesque Little Venice. The area has many delightful cafes, restaurants, and pubs as well as a large park and other sporting facilities.
The Room:
The room contains a built-in mezzanine that holds a comfy double bed with lots of cupboard and storage space below, increasing the useable space in the room. There are also some lovely period features such as a beautiful victorian wrought iron fire place. The double doors at the end of the room let in lots of light, and open onto a charming balcony which overlooks the street below. Apart from the built-in furniture, the room is otherwise unfurnished.
The Flat:
The rest of the flat contains the following; a large kitchen which is great for cooking big meals and entertaining in, a large living room which also has a double bed mezzanine and a 49 inch TV, two bathrooms (one is ensuite to my room and the other, which comes off the hallway, would be for you as well as guests to the flat), new washing machine, new dishwasher, gas hob, and super fast broadband. The kitchen, living room, and bedrooms have been recently renovated to a high standard!
Bills:
The water, gas, electricity, HyperOptic broadband, council tax and TV license bills are all included in the rent.
About Me:
I've lived in Maida Vale for years and absolutely love the area. In my spare time I like climbing, going to the gym, traveling, and spending time with friends. I'd love to be able to share the flat with someone who also wants to create a homely vibe.
