Description
One double room is available in our flat in Maida Vale from now. Our landlady is fairly flexible with move in date as it's important that we find the right person!
It’s a cosy room with under the bed storage which comes fully furnished with bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers as seen in the photos. The flat has four bedrooms in total - all of which are separated by different rooms e. g. bathroom/living rooms which adds some privacy.
The building has a 24 hour porter which is great for deliveries and a secure place to keep your bike.
The flat has large shared living room, a kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, and three other double bedrooms. There are two bathrooms in the flat that have both been done up in the last couple of years.
The current flatmates are Louise, Lucy and Cristina and we work in advertising, marketing and retail respectively.
The flat has good social/personal space balance and we all get on well. Ideally we’d like someone who is up for keeping the flat's friendly vibe with a good balance of having time alone and going out and about too.
The location itself is excellent. It’s right next to Little Venice, a short walk to Regent's Park, St. John’s Wood and Paddington. There’s loads of pubs and cafes on the doorstep and also an Everyman cinema just down the road. There’s also two Tesco Expresses less than 5 minutes away.
The flat is very well connected with a bus into the West End available from just outside the flat. It’s only a half an hour walk to Marble Arch and Hyde Park. Warwick Avenue and Maida Vale tube stations are approximately a 10 minute walk, and the Jubilee line from St. John’s Wood and Circle, District and Hammersmith & City at Edgware Road, are both about 15 minutes on foot.
Bills are not included but typically we pay around £40-50 per month each for TV license, council tax, energy, water and internet.
