Large Room in Maida Vale in Peaceful Flat

Big double bedroom available in Maida Vale, 5 minutes walk from the tube station. Our flatmate is unfortunately leaving London due to a wonderful work opportunity and we are looking to replace him in our lovely flat. We’re looking for the right fit to join our home and hoping to fill the room ASAP.

THE ROOM:
The available room is a large double bedroom with ample storage, including a wall of wardrobes. The room has an ensuite which contains a shower, toilet and vanity. The bedroom comes furnished with a bed, side tables and bookshelf. There is also access to a small balcony which overlooks the back gardens, which is perfect for catching the afternoon sun (when it's out!). The kitchen is fitted with two fridges, an oven, cooker and dishwasher. There is a shared living room with sofas and a dining table.

THE BILLS:
Bills are about £110 a month, a little more during winter. This includes a cleaner who comes once every two weeks. The bills include council tax, internet, TV licence, water, electricity and gas.

THE HOUSEMATES:
The flat is currently shared by Katherine, an Australian teacher, and Anupama, who works in consulting and will be moving out in January. They’re friendly and happy to chat in the evenings after work, while being very respectful of your personal space. We mostly socialize outside the house, and the flat has a peaceful, non-party atmosphere - a relaxing retreat after a busy day. The mansion block itself is very quiet, home to families and professionals, making it a calm and welcoming environment.

THE AREA:
The area is just fantastic! There is a park just behind the flat, Paddington Recreation Ground, with a running track and a gym. The area has many shops and coffee places, and it is 10 minutes walk from the Regents Canal and Little Venice. Paddington Station is also just 20 minutes walk away.

ABOUT YOU:
We are looking for a professional, working full time in the office or majority in the office, someone who will mesh with the current respectful and peaceful household. We are looking for someone who is considerate, tidy and respects each other’s space. Someone who enjoys the casual chat, but also has their own things happening/interests. This room is for single occupancy only - we are not considering couples or friends sharing.

Will be held over the weekends of 25/26 October and 1/2 November.
