The Flat:
A bright and spacious partially furnished room is available in a lovely ground-floor flat in Maida Vale. The flat has a fully equipped kitchen (utensils, pots, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine) and a shared modern bathroom. The room itself comes with a double bed and cupboards, and the large windows looking onto the hedge bring in great natural light. There’s also a peaceful private garden at the back — perfect for summer.

The Area:
The location is fantastic — just a short walk from Paddington Recreation Ground, with its beautiful park, running track and gym. The neighbourhood is quiet and charming, with great cafés, restaurants, local pubs, a GAIL’s nearby, and easy bus and tube links. Little Venice and the canal are close too, making it a lovely area for walks or cycling to Camden, Regent’s Park or Primrose Hill.

Transport:
Maida Vale station (Bakerloo line) is around an 8-minute walk and gets you to Oxford Circus in about 12 minutes. Paddington is a 20-minute walk (or two stops on the Bakerloo) with quick links across London, including the Heathrow Express. Notting Hill is also about 20 minutes on foot.

About Us:
You’d be sharing with two lovely, respectful women in their early 40s — Suse, who works in classical music, and Julie, who works in publishing. We’re house-proud, keep things clean and tidy, and enjoy having a calm home. We’re social and friendly (occasional wine chats in the kitchen!) but equally respectful of personal space and quiet time. No parties at home.

We’re looking for someone who’s similarly clean, considerate and easygoing.

Rent:
Rent is paid on the 28th of each month.
All additional costs — utilities, council tax, broadband and our trusted cleaner — comes to £150 per person per month.
