Description
I’m looking for someone to take this lovely room and continue renting this flat with me as my current flatmate is moving out in October. It’s a peaceful, tidy place that’s ideal for someone looking for a comfortable home.
The Room
Comes fully furnished, including a desk, two wardrobes and a chest of drawers. There is a double bed with a recently replaced mattress & bedframe. The room faces South East with a view of the communal garden.
The Flat
The flat is on the 1st floor, and has a shared lounge area, bathroom, shower room and separate WC. There is a fully equipped kitchen (although we don’t have a microwave) which is connected to a dining area with a balcony overlooking the communal garden.
The building is generally quiet and the other residents are friendly. It’s well-maintained but management can be strict on things like noise, and it’s no pets I’m afraid!
There is paid parking on the road outside - I don’t have a car, but I think residents’ permits are available. There’s also a secure bike locker on the corner of the road.
The Area
Maida Vale is a quiet and leafy area, and the flat is around 7 mins walk from Maida Vale tube station (Bakerloo Line) which gets you to Oxford Circus in about 10 minutes. We are also around 15 mins walk from St John’s Wood tube station (Jubilee Line) and a 20 min walk from Paddington.
The flat is opposite a well-maintained park with a gym, a (free!) running track, as well as tennis courts, football pitches and a cafe.
We’re also about 30 mins walk from Regent’s Park, and 40 mins walk from Hyde Park.
About Me
I’m Hayley, 27, and I work full time in the film industry finding locations. I work from home around 3 days a week. I like theatre, film, museums, books and I go running often. I’m pretty tidy, a non-smoker, and I always do my washing up. I’m vegetarian so if you’re vegan / veggie, that’s a bonus!
It would be lovely to find someone who’s up for the occasional pint or cinema trip. I’ve lived here for nearly 3 years so ideally looking for someone who wants a long-term home.
LGBTQ + friendly.
Rent:
- £1000 per month
- Deposit: £857.50
- Bills: Approx. £160 per person per month (all bills split evenly), plus yearly TV license.
- Some agency fees may apply.
- Council Tax Band F
The agency will conduct reference checks - working professionals only, no students or couples unfortunately.
Please get in touch with a bit of info about yourself and to arrange a viewing.
*Looking to hold viewings this weekend (25th & 26th July) on Saturday morning and all day Sunday.*
