Double room, sunny warehouse, new open room in Oct

Another housemate has left us to live on her own, but on the bright side, we get to meet someone new. Is it you? Available Oct. 15th with some wiggle room on either side.

THE PLACE:
The room is on the first floor, with a window and a small mezzanine platform. Comes unfurnished, though you are welcome to paint and modify to your heart's content.

The main space is great for house dinners, art projects, having friends over, post-party debriefing, hosting events, etc. We also have a mezzanine space/cosy second living room with a tv and sofas. We have two bathrooms w/ showers and the usual amenities, and a neat little back garden where we can barbecue in the summer (as well as a larger courtyard we share with our neighbors).

THE PEOPLE:
There are 7 of us (plus one lovely cat), all of whom met each other through living here. Although we take plenty of time to ourselves as well, we're a pretty social bunch and like to hang out when we can (sometimes this means 'hey anyone down for New River tonight?', sometimes it's afters, sometimes it's hosting a big all-hands-on-deck party). Friends and partners are over frequently. We've got a couple musicians in the house and have been known to host the odd jam session/living room show as well - we've also put on 2 drag shows in the past year, to great success.

At the same time, we are keen on practical DIY projects, and really try to put effort into responsibly maintaining and improving our warehouse together and keeping things functional. The house is relatively quiet after 11 on weekday evenings out of respect for typical work schedules. Warehouse living does mean thin walls though - necessitating a high tolerance for noise as well as a flexible and lasseiz-faire attitude towards other people's business ;)

The rent includes all bills. We all pay £30 a month into a shared kitty for house essentials and internet. One month's deposit plus one month's rent is payable to our landlord when you move in. There's never been any issues with deposit returns.
