Hello potential future flatmate!

We have one room coming available this April in our lovely warehouse in Manor House. The unit is on the second level of the building and the room is a small double with opening skylight. Furnishing can be discussed to suit your needs with the previous flatmate.

Manor House is excellently located: The Piccadilly Line tube @ Manor House station is 10 mins walk, Overground trains from Stamford Hill are approx. 8 mins walk, buses to Camden/Kings X, Hackney and Aldgate are just across the road. We are also very close to Finsbury Park, Clissold Park, Green Lanes, Stoke Newington, Seven Sisters, supermarkets and lots more.

There's a unique vibe and atmosphere in the creative neighbourhood within which we live and lots of exciting things going on. We have a friendly neighbourhood cafe-bar and gig venue called New River Studios which always has a friend or two hanging out in no matter the day or night. It's a melting pot of cultures and creatives and anyone else who simply took a fancy to this living environment. If like us you buzz off being surrounded by interesting and engaging people and events then you'll love it here. That being said we generally prefer the excitement and partying to be kept away from our home as this is our relaxing, chill space🙂

The living space is large and open-plan. There's a projector, super comfy sofa, hammock, loads of plants and a fully equipped kitchen plus 2 bathrooms with large powerful showers.

Everybody in the flat is busy with work and private lives during the week, but we have the occasional meal together or random gathering of friends. We are all pretty close despite having our separate lives and we'd hope you to be friendly and involved. Most nights there will be some of us chilling in front of the projector. We also have two very friendly cats and so ideally you will love them as much as our home. You’d be expected to be active in loving and looking after the kitties as we all share the responsibilities.

This is not a party house and we are proud to keep a very clean and tidy space. We are looking for someone who shares the same chill vibe, who is helpful and respectful, easy going and nice to chat with, and who is genuinely eager to do their share of the cleaning and house duties to keep and maintain a happy and harmonious home. Not much needs to be done to keep it nice so it's a pretty easy life (we have a bi-weekly cleaner for the main spaces).

The rent is £770 per month and the deposit is £650. This room is for single occupancy only so no couples. Monthly rent is inclusive of all bills, internet (super fast fibre!), Council tax, shared goods (washing up liquid, toilet roll etc.) 🙂
