Description

Hey heyyy!✨
I'm looking to fill the other room in my 2b2b flat that's going to be available as of May 20th, 2024. Keep reading for the scoop on your potential new home:

LOCATION:
- We're located a 4 min walk from the Manor House stop of the Picadilly Line meaning you can be at King's Cross in 15 mins, and Holborn in 17. Bonus: if you're into catching flights and not feelings, Heathrow is a straight shot on the Picadilly in 1h15mins
- The park (Finsbury Park) is a 5 min walk away with loads of green space for picnics, and a a great looping path (2 laps = a 5k for my runners/power walkers out there)
- A small Sainsbury's Local and CO-OP are each a 5min walk away. Plus 15 min walk (or 10min bus) away is a shopping center with a big Sainsbury's, ALDI, Superdrug, Poundland, TK Maxx, and more.

THE BUILDING:
- There's limited street parking but there's an underground garage if you have a car (you'll have to inquire with the concierge about details on that)
- Amenities include a heated pool and gym in the basement, and a conference room that folks like to WFH in on the ground floor
- Concierge on the ground floor (they're lovely and super helpful) are available 24/7 to receive packages and answer any questions you may have

THE FLAT:
-Rent is 1,250 per month (+bills) and we are in Hackney Council Tax Band D
-There are 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms in the flat so you'll have your own bathroom with a tub
- Your room comes furnished with a bed, 2 side tables, 2 lamps, and a 4-drawer dresser. Your closet isn't inside the room but is located right outside your door (it's SPACIOUS!). Across from your closet is a storage closet that houses our washer-dryer
- We'll be sharing the living room and kitchen that came furnished as well. I've added bits and bobs but would love to live with someone who is is down to make the space feel like home through decor
-We also have a pretty spacious balcony

THE FLATMATE:
-I'm 26 and moved to London from Raleigh, North Carolina last year
- I work in pharmaceutical advertising and primarily WFH though I go into the office roughly once or twice a week. You are more than welcome to WFH as well (there's plenty of space in your room for a desk and the wifi is fast enough)
-I like to bake (so expect to enjoy sweet treats that pop up in the kitchen) and I love fresh flowers (there’s usually some in the flat)
-I'd love to live with someone who's down to be friends, have movie nights and casual hangs in and out of the flat (homey vibes are the goal)
-I like to have friends over once in a while and encourage you to do so as well (this is your home, after all) though this isn't a party flat as I like to keep things chill during the week
-I enjoy going out with friends, trashy tv shows, sitting in the park when the weather’s good, exploring London, crocheting, board games, and I host a pub quiz down the street once a month
