Description
Double room to let in beautiful, vegetarian/pescatarian child friendly warehouse.
Our home is in Arena Design Centre, Haringey Warehouse District. The latest start date must be 12th September. Vibes are mindful and chill, it's not a party house. Shared with 5 females including a 14 years old and a cat, our baby! We're looking for a female flatmate though we're open to interview male candidates too; what is most important is that is a real fit for the house. We want to live with someone who adds to the good vibes, someone mindful, maybe you are on a spiritual journey while you also know how to keep grounded.
The room:
It is a cosy still double bed mezzanine room with furniture. It suits great to a student. Do notice that there's no window to the outdoor however we do have an extractor system to keep the air fresh.
The photos shown here are not 100% updated but it will give you a very clear idea of what it looks like.
The agreement:
Offering the room for up to 3 months with a possibility of becoming permanent if we find the right fit. This is, to be sincere, because we are looking for a match, rather than just to fill up the room.
1 month minimum short lets will also be considered.
One month deposit.
Commitments:
We have a weekly cleaning rota. We all tidy after ourselves and we're looking into bringing a cleaner once or twice a month and shared the costs. We all bring cleaning products, toiletry, cat's food/litter and we have a couple of commons food sections. We share the costs of electrical goods that needs replacement. We are OK with living spaces being used in creative ways (playing music, drawing, video making, craft and other makings, dancing, silk climbing etc).
Please do not contact us if you cannot commit to doing your part to keep the space clean and fresh.
About you:
We're looking for a person who values homely vibes; somebody who is truly child friendly, maybe you come from a cultural background where children and adults mingle spontaneously. We want to leave with someone who cares about people, spaces, is respectful, grounded, kind, emotionally intelligent, clean and tidy, and overall fresh and positive.
You need to be a vegan, vegetarian or a pescatarian.
The neighborhood:
Arena Design Center is a creative and social hub. There is a mixed of artists, IT, DIY and social scientists as well as people into humanities. We're part of the Haringay Warehouse District, a vibrant and huge community with all kind of ideas being put into practise. Its a 15 minutes walk from Manor house station (Piccadilly line) and Seven Sisters (Victoria line), and 10mins from Haringay Green Lanes (Overground). A stroll from Green Lanes, a vivid street full of restaurants and coffee shops, and a shorter walk to the Arena mall, with it's massive Sainsbury's store. We also got plenty of greenery around, including Finsbury Park and Woodberry downs, where you can go for a swim at the water reserve.
