Ilford shopping centre is 10 mins walk away; with a range of pubs, cafes, a good central library (including good reference facilities and Internet), a fitness/leisure centre, the Kenneth More Theatre and a Vue cinema. Closer to the house is a range of takeaways and shops (some with 24 hours opening). Stratford Olympic village and the vast Westfield shopping centre are just a couple of miles away – with a very wide range of shops and eating places; two cinemas, the Stratford Circus, a central library and the Theatre Royal Stratford East are also in the vicinity.

For walking and exercise, the house is located close to Epping Forest, Wanstead Park and Wanstead Flats (with fishing lakes and cultural events in the Wanstead Temple).

Safety and Inspection: The property has a London Borough of Newham Property Licence. It also has a valid Electrical Installation Condition Report, Emergency Lighting, Smoke Detectors, a carbon monoxide detector, and all appliances owned by the landlord have been subjected to Portable Fixed Appliance Tests.
