A beautifully finished narrowboat in the vibrant and creative Lisson Grove Mooring, Marylebone. Please note that I am currently selling the boat so the lease would be a monthly rolling contract only. Other boats often become available on the mooring and residents have first dibs! That means that I would need access to the boat to do occasional viewings and would need the space looking good on those days. Its a great space for a solo adventurer or a couple.

Modern Amenities: Boat has a dishwasher, washing machine, and a newly purchased larger fridge freezer than photographed, ensuring all the conveniences of modern living. There is a good sized water tank and hot water boiler with a tap just outside the door to refill (approx once every 2 weeks). Please note that here is a casette toilet which you will need to empty about once every two months in nearby facilities. These numbers are based on one person.

Outdoor Living: Relax under the newly built outdoor pergola, which also doubles up as additional outdoor storage.

Comfortable Interior: The boat has been recently repainted a warm white inside and there is solid wood flooring in the living room, bedroom and kitchen (not pictured). Storage is unusually plentiful on this boat with ample kitchen cuboards and a generous space above the engine room but it is limited compared to a flat so maximilists might struggle. The bed has been raised in order to provide an extra 70cm of under-bed storage. An oak framed skylight brings natural light into the living space and beautiful views of the overhanging trees.

Heating: A wood and coal burner in the living room provides ample heat in the winter and two powerful De Longhi Dragon can be timed to come on when you wake up or get back home before you get your fire started.

Parking and post: It is possible to obtain parking and a post box locally via a specific process which I can explain.

Bills: Everything is included in the rent so you would just need to pay for your electricity, gas and heating which varies from about 30 per month in summer to 80 in winter depending how often you are there. If you want to have parking or post that would be a small additional cost. It is possible to have a cleaner.

Please note that some furniture has changed on the boat since these pictures and the kitchen has been done up.
