Description
We have a sunny small double room in a spacious, quiet semi-detached house in South Wimbledon, in a pleasant welcoming neighbourhood, very well connected by Tube, bus and Tramlink. We have a lot of big green spaces a short walk away: Morden Park, Morden Hall Park, John Innes Gardens etc.
The room we offer has a bright bay window overlooking the quiet, leafy road and comes with a wardrobe and a chest of drawers and a double bed.
The bathroom is shared with three house-mates and has a large bath/shower, a regular size basin and airing cupboard.
We have a large dining/living room with TV and plenty of sofas, a big library with books, games and films, and a large extending dining table. The separate, functional and fully equipped kitchen has some extra space for drying clothes during bad weather.
The garden is really big, wide and sunny, and has a large patio with dining furniture and a barbecue.
The front garden is mostly just paved and has our cars parked on it (sadly full, so we can't offer off-street parking; there is permit parking on the road however).
The other flatmates are friendly and we like to watch films sharing a bottle of wine, having meals together occasionally, and playing board games.
We have a cat who likes to wander the house and neighbourhood(it would be necessary for the new house-mate to like cats at some level).
We think it is important to find a place that one would be very comfortable staying for a long period of time, and hopefully that place is here for the right person. The bills are around £60-£80 a month on average but vary a little depending on usage. This includes gas, electricity, water, broadband and council tax.
