Double Room in Mile End

Hello!

We have a double room up for rent from the 28th July in a four-bed flat. The building is 100m from Mile End Road and is mostly families and students. Surrounding area is well lit and Mile End tube station is 5-10 minutes' walk away.

The room itself is smaller than the others in the flat (this is reflected in the rent!), but there is space for a double bed, a desk, a set of shelves and a small chest of drawers. Bed has storage underneath, and there's also a decent sized cupboard on the landing that comes with the room, which is big enough to use as a wardrobe (has a rail) and store boxes in as well. It's a south-facing room so gets plenty of sunlight. Dimensions are approx 3.1m by 2.1m.

The flat is split over two floors. We have a shared living room/kitchen with all the obvious amenities, plus a tumble dryer, minus a TV. There's a toilet on the lower floor, and a bathroom (toilet, shower, bathtub) on the upper floor.

The three of us have all lived here for at least a year - we're friends and socialise together, although this can be fairly ad hoc as we all have separate lives as well! We all have 9-5 jobs and work from home about half the time.

The rent for the room is £520 a month. Bills have averaged out at around £80-90 per person per month (including water, council tax, internet etc).

Connections (times by foot):
Mile End - 5-10 mins
Stepney Green - 5-10 mins
Limehouse - 15 mins
Mile End Rd goes straight into the City, so is good for buses and bikes. Grove Road has bus connections to Hackney and Canary Wharf.

There's lots of green space nearby - Mile End Park is a couple of minutes walk away (crossing Regent's Canal), and Victoria Park is a 20-25 minute walk.
