Hi all,
A bright double room will become available on 8 June, as our current flatmate is relocating outside London for a new job.
The house is in an excellent location: a very quiet residential road just 5 minutes from Mile End Station, directly opposite Mile End Park and moments from the canal that leads to Victoria Park, Hackney, and even all the way to King’s Cross and Regent’s Park if you enjoy long walks. We’re also very close to supermarkets, Sainsbury’s (3 min), and within 10 minutes you’ll find Asda, Tesco and Co‑op.
You’ll be sharing with a couple (my husband and me - we are both Spanish speakers (Colombians) but we also understand English). The third bedroom is semi‑available; no one lives in it, but it currently stores our previous flatmate’s belongings. We can still access the patio through it. So for now, the house is just the two of us, and with the new flatmate, it will be a total of three people.
The house has 3 rooms in total, a kitchen, a separate toilet, a bathroom and a patio. You will have full access to the common areas.
The room comes with an Ottoman double bed, so there’s plenty of storage underneath, plus a built‑in wardrobe. If you need extra space for storage, we can also clear some room in the other wardrobes so you have more space for your things.
We both work during the day and are usually in bed by 9:30–10pm, so we’re ideally looking for someone who keeps similar hours or is at least mindful of noise late at night.
We also value a clean and tidy home, especially in the shared areas. So we’re looking for someone who is naturally clean, considerate, and happy to keep the common spaces in good condition.
Friends visiting or small gatherings are absolutely welcome, but no parties, as we like to keep the house calm and respectful.
We’re non‑smokers.
Bills are included in the rent.
We’re unable to accept DSS, and the rental is through a private landlord.
Price is non-negotiable.
