We have a large furnished double, available from 1st June 2025. Our current flatmate is moving in with her partner, so we’re looking for someone new to replace her!
You’ll be sharing with two easy going, young professionals – Sam (35/Marketing) and Lauren (33/IT Projects), both working from home for the majority of the week. We like the usual stuff; watching films, going out for the odd few drinks or just hanging out in the flat.
The room itself is a really big and bright double, and comes furnished with a bed, wardrobe (x2), drawers, desk, and bookshelf. It's set back from the road with good double glazing, and gets the sun in the morning. Flat has a fully equipped kitchen/dining area with sofa (but there is no separate lounge), a bathroom/toilet with high powered shower and another separate toilet. The estate has a private, shared garden area too if you wanted to sit in the sun on a nice day!
The flat is in a super central location, in Mayford Estate - a 3 min walk away from Mornington Crescent tube station, 10 min walk to Euston, 12 min walk to Kings Cross. There are also great links to central London – 15 min on the tube, tons of buses, or it’s a 30 min walk to Oxford St.
We are 3 min from Camden High St (the less busy part!) which has every single supermarket you could possibly want, and 10 min walk from Sainsbury's/Waitrose superstores, 15 min walk to the Camden market/lock area, 10 min walk to Granary Square in Kings Cross, and around 15 min from Regent's Park/ Primrose Hill. Overall a pretty great location.
Bills usually come to:
Rent: £750 monthly
Council Tax/Internet/Water: approx. £100 monthly total
Electricity/Gas: varies, but approx. £60 per quarter on meter
Cleaner comes every other week: £40 per month
TV license: £8 p/month
(heating is free!)
So, total monthly cost with rent roughly comes to around £930.
