Beautiful & Spacious Double Room in Victorian Home

We are a family with grown up adult children who are moving out from our big family home so we are now looking to share our spare guest room with professionals who prefer a clean, respectful family home and commit to keeping the place clean, clutter free, and mutually respectful.

Mottingham station is a short walk away and there is usually 4 trains an hour to London. Grove Park and Eltham Station is accessible via bus. There is Lidl shopping centre and M&S food nearby and Mottingham, Chislehurst, and Eltham high street has places for shopping, eating, and entertainment.

We have a large family home. The room available is on top floor (second floor) facing the street with ample light. There is a bathroom on the top floor which is for your own use most of the time unless our daughter is visiting from Uni in which case you will share the bathroom during her stay. She would also occupy the second bedroom on the same floor during her stay, otherwise the top floor is usually empty.

You are permitted to use the Washing Machine and Dryer on the same floor (which is also used by us).

We have a house cat, Bella, who might occasionally visit you. If you are cat lover, it will be a bonus.

You are permitted to use the Kitchen and Dish Waster. We expect you to clean up immediately after use. There is a fridge/freezer and you are welcome to use the supplies if you reasonably replace them.

You are welcome to use the common living room area.

Bills including Council Tax, Heating, Electricity, Gas, Broadband, TV licence, and Water is included in the rent.

Short lets are available (less than 3 months) for monthly rent of £1,200 (and deposit of £1,200).

There is on-street parking for which permit can be procured from the council. Free parking is available short walk away. We can create parking space for you for additional rent of £100 per month.
