Spacious double bedroom in leafy Muswell Hill

We have a furnished double room available for a short-term let (2–3 months) in our bright top-floor Edwardian flat in the heart of Muswell Hill. Bills not included (approximately £150 a month including council tax, energy, wifi, water).

The room has a double ottoman bed, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, open rail for additional hanging space, desk, and smart TV, so there is plenty of storage as well as space to work or relax.

The flat has a spacious kitchen-diner with a balcony, and a shared bathroom with a shower (no bath). Please note that the flat is on the second floor and there is no lift.

The location is one of the best things about the flat — leafy Muswell Hill, right in the town centre, with easy access to a great mix of independent shops, well-known stores, cafés, and restaurants. There are excellent transport links nearby, with regular buses, the Northern line via Highgate, the Piccadilly and Victoria lines via Finsbury Park, and National Rail services from Alexandra Palace.

If you have a car, there is free parking on most of the roads in the area.

Alexandra Palace Park is around a 10-minute walk away and offers lots of green space and lovely views across London.

You’d be living with me and my partner. We are both friendly and tidy, and we each work from home a few days a week.

One thing to note is that I use the living room as a work-from-home space, so it isn’t available as a shared living area. Because of that, this would probably suit someone looking for a short-term lodger setup and who’s happy having their own space.
