G'day, we have a house in Muswell Hill with a vacant single bedroom (as currently furnished, potentially a double) for £700/month.
Sadly a couple are leaving us to go back to Australia, so we're looking for the right tenant to join us.
We remaining are 2 Australian guys and 1 British female, with a dog called Teddy.
More pets are welcome but subject to Teddy and them becoming friends.
We have a music studio (yes really) in the shed in backyard if you're into music, a new BBQ just in time for summer, and a nice little yard for catching some sunshine.
For any introverts, we also have super fast unlimited broadband available as well at 1Gbps.
The area itself is nice, quiet, family friendly. There is a neighbourhood WhatsApp and everyone has been super helpful. There is a massive outdoor sports complex/football fields at the end of the street, and a little rainforest type vibe woods next to that which makes for good walking.
Bus stop is literally at the end of the street, with the 234 towards London or up to Barnet. About 800m walk away is Colney Hatch Lane for the 143 and a bunch o cafes/shops/doctors and pharmacists.
Rent listed *doesn't* include bills, which will roughly be (as of me writing this): Internet (£8), Gas/Electricity (£30), Water (£15), Council Tax (Band E -- £43). We bulk-buy toilet paper and kitchen roll which comes out to about £5. All up your regular bills will probably be about £100-ish I reckon.
The only gotcha I might think of is that there is a rental assessment in September so rent might go up a little from there, but who knows it might not.
