The room
The room is partially furnished (bed and narrow cupboard) and fits a double bed, a desk, a bookshelf and a clothes rail (or any other configuration of similar sized furniture!). It’s 3.75m x 3.66m. It looks out over the garden (belonging to the downstairs flat) so feels secure, tucked away and really quiet. It has a lovely fireplace/mantlepiece and there’s plenty of space to make it feel like home!

Rent:
£750 a month excluding bills – which usually come to about £110 each month. The deposit is £720.75.

The rest of the flat
The rest of the flat is a larger-than-average 3 bedroom flat in the upper 2 floors of a Victorian terraced house just down the road from Muswell Hill Broadway. We share the living room (which is huge, you have to see it to believe it - really nice windows), the kitchen and one bathroom (bath and shower) and there are two other bedrooms on the top floor. The kitchen is pretty big, we have a dining table, and loads of open-facing storage space. Somewhere down the line, someone decorated the cupboards with stickers of Elvis which we love/you get used to surprisingly quickly. We enjoy watching tv together in the living room and love a disco ball.

The area
Muswell Hill is a great place to live! There are more coffee shops than you can count, several restaurants (locally run and chains) and nice pubs. We live within walking distance of several supermarkets: a big Sainsburys, a medium sized M&S and a small Waitrose, with an Aldi on its way soon. The flat is a 10 minute bus journey/25 minute walk from Highgate tube station (Northern line) and a 10 minute bus journey from Bounds Green (Piccadilly line). The buses are also brilliant, with lines that go all the way to Warren Street (less than an hour) and London Bridge (about an hour). This is such an ideal, leafy North London location: we’re just behind Ally Pally, walking distance from Crouch End and Highgate, where there are great pubs, restaurants and cafes, and not so far from Hampstead Heath.

Lily (26) a books journalist, Molly (26) and Tom (32) business journalists - but being a journalist is not compulsory(!)

We’re looking for someone who will enjoy spending time with us – we spend a few evenings together a week, watching tv, hanging out, cooking or maybe venturing out to the pub - but there’s plenty of room to do your own thing and make the space your own too.
