We are looking for a friendly female to join our flatshare. We're ideally looking for someone longer-term but would consider someone for a shorter period of time!
Availability:
The room comes unfurnished and is likely to be available from early January, aside from a wardrobe. It’s shown in the photos with previous tenants furniture but there is plenty of space for chest of drawers, desk etc.
About the flat:
It's a secure building with friendly neighbours and most of them are families who have lived here for years. The flat is on the smaller side, but is a real gem. It's on the top floor with nice views of the Muswell Hill rooftops. There's a small shared lounge with TV, shared kitchen area and seperate dining area.
About the flatmates:
Clean, considerate & friendly flatmates. Both British. One has lived in the flat for over ten years, the other for 3.5 years, and it really feels like a home. We enjoy a quiet and peaceful environment in the flat though are always up for a chat, roast dinner or bit of reality TV! One of us works regular hours in retail and the other owns their own small business in Media. We're looking for a flatmate with a similar lifestyle who works regular hours. No couples/regular guests or smokers.
About the area:
The flat is in the heart of Muswell Hill village. It's a 10-15 minute pleasant walk to East Finchley tube on the Northern line. There's also plenty of buses right on the doorstep serving both East Finchley and Highgate tubes. Lots of shops, independent cafes/restaurants nearby - everything you could need, really. Also an Everyman cinema. We're well served by supermarkets including Sainsburys, Waitrose, M and S, Planet Organic! A short walk from Highgate Village, Crouch End and Hampstead Heath. Near to Highgate Wood and Ally Pally park too.
Rent and Bills:
The rent is £735 a month, and the bills £165 on top.
Please Note:
The room can be rented out as a 'lodger' or there would be the option of joining the tenancy agreement. References would be required either way.
