Description

A bright, large double room with huge windows (expect lots of sunlight kisses) is available in a cosy 2-bed flat in Muswell Hill surrounded by greenery and local wildlife.

HOME:

-a little sun-trapped paradise full of plants, books and art.
-no separate living room, but a spacious hallway dining area.
-a massive private garden with comfy lounge chairs and a table – perfect for breakfast while listening to the birds’ symphony, reading, meditating, grounding barefoot in the grass or enjoying picnics among roses.
-the kitchen & bathroom aren’t huge, but they’re practical and well-kept.
-plenty of storage space in the basement.

ABOUT ME:

You’ll be sharing the flat with me — a 41-year-old creative professional — and Lolo, my 15-year-old pug who is affectionate, sleepy, and occasionally mischievous. I mostly work from home and treat the space as a peaceful sanctuary. I love all things art and design — from poetry to flower preservation — and I’m always exploring new galleries, exhibitions, cafés, and hidden treasures around London for inspiration.

ABOUT YOU:

I’m looking for someone who values a peaceful, supportive home environment.
Ideally, you’re:
-a woman aged 30+ in full-time employment.
-kind, easy-going and at a stage where home feels more appealing than big nights out.
-proactive about keeping the flat tidy & co-creating this beautiful, serene space together.

AREA:

Living here feels like being in a fairytale village in the middle of ancient woods, while Central London is still an easy trip away.

Nearby you’ll find:
-Highgate & Queen’s Woods – ancient woodland with trails and wildlife, covered in blueberry carpets in spring.
-Alexandra Palace – ideal for sunsets, festivals, gigs, ice skating and events throughout the year.
-Muswell Hill Broadway – indie shops, cafés, bakeries, restaurants, Everyman, and community art markets.
-PureGym is 1 min away, hot yoga 5min away, and running/hiking paths on your doorstep.

Transport:
-Highgate & East Finchley tube (18–20 mins to central London): a short bus ride away (7 min) or a 20 min walk.
-Buses (43, 134, W7, 102, 144, 234 etc.) are 3 min away.

MONEY ASPECTS:

Rent: £956 per month.
Deposit: 1 month’s rent (protected by a tenancy deposit scheme).
Bills: around £200 per month, depending on the heating season.
Move-in date: from 1st January, with some flexibility.
Minimum stay: 6 months.

There’s no agency involved, but the landlady requires full-time employment and proof of income, ID and right to live in the UK.

If you’re interested, please send me a message with a bit about yourself: your age, work, interests, and what you’re looking for in a home.

I look forward to hearing from you! ✨
