This is a huge quiet well-maintained Victorian house with original features in central Muswell Hill (see photo). The live-in landlord lives on the ground floor and rents out 2 bedrooms on the top floor to female tenants only.
The single room is 16 x 13 feet (see 3 photos and video) and is already fully furnished. The tenant will have sole use of a bathroom with bath, power shower and toilet on the same floor.
The rent is cheap as I now only want a week-day tenant who returns home at weekends.
The rent includes all bills,(council tax, power and central heating), virgin media broadband and use of the ground floor washing machine and a clothes drying room with ironing board on the second floor.
The 2 tenants share their own kitchen (see photo) and keep it immaculately clean.
This is a quiet house with no loud music and visitors cannot stay after 11. 00 pm and so this might suit some of you but not others!
Tenants must be in full time, 9-5 employment as professionals or scientists.
The landlord, a retired University lecturer/veterinary surgeon, who is often out climbing and walking, lives on the ground floor. His daughter occasionally uses the second floor.
Tenants usually stay a year or more if happy but there is one month's notice on either side.
The house is a 2 minute walk then 10 minute bus journey of 5-10 minutes to either Highgate tube station (Northern Line) or Bounds Green (Piccadilly Line).
