Double room in bright ground floor flat

Our chill wee shared house is looking for a new housemate!

The room is “bedroom 2” on the floorplan pic. It has a giant double wardrobe which is great for storage. Previous housemate stayed for 3+ years and is leaving to move in with their BF.

It is a decent-sized double room for £900 plus bills (around £100 each) per month. It’s a rolling lodger contract, open to short or longterm lets from 1 Feb, but ideally not less than 3 months. House is sunny with a large living/dining room, modern kitchen (you get your own cupboard and a shelf in the fridge - we have loads of shared pots and pans etc, so no need to supply anything) small private patio garden with grape vines in summer, shared bathroom and separate second toilet. There’s nice parks, cafes, pubs and independent shops nearby. It’s 10min walk to a large Lidl, Aldi, New Cross Gate station and Queens Rd Peckham station and trains can get you into central London in 15min. Busses get you to Waterloo station or London Bridge in 25min.

In the house are David, Es and Irene. Es and David are a couple and the home owners. David is a British photographer who enjoys computer games. Es is a kiwi journalist who also freelances in film and theatre. Irene works for an architecture firm and is a plant mum. We all work full-time (often from home), so it can be fairly quiet during the day, but we’re always keen for a chat or games night!
