Small double room in bright ground floor flat

We are gutted that our current housemate is leaving London, and are looking for a professional single to take her room as a longterm tenant. It is “bedroom 4” on the floorplan pic.

A short-term tenant is currently renting the room and may be there when you view it. The room comes with a double bed and mattress, wardrobe, drawers and desk chair (all pictured). We can help provide a desk if needed.

It is a small double room for £800 plus bills (about £90 each) per month. Can do short lets for a higher price. Large living/dining room, modern kitchen, small private patio garden with grape vines, shared bathroom and separate second toilet. There’s nice parks, cafes and pubs nearby, it’s 10min walk to a large Lidl, New Cross Gate station and Queens Rd Peckham station. Busses get you to Waterloo station or London Bridge in 35min.

In the house are three others: David and Es are a young couple and the home owners. David is a British photographer who enjoys computer games. Es is a kiwi journalist who freelances in film and theatre. Nat is also British, works for an immersive marketing agency and enjoys playing football. We do not have pets but Nat’s lovely dog Kylo may stay occasionally, plus the neighbour’s cat Lionel likes to visit, so an animal lover would feel at home here. The three of us are all fairly introverted, work full-time and work from home most of the time so usually the house is pretty quiet, but we are always keen for a chat or the odd board games night!
