Hi! ✨We have a double room available in our all-boys house (but would love some diversity!!) in New Cross from 21st July.
We are planning to do viewings every weekend (commencing 29th June) but can accommodate viewings during weekdays too. Please message if you are interested. Don't know the volume of people we'll get but we'll try to get back to everyone.
Us 👦👦🐕:
We are Carlos (27), Kuba (30), and Dusty (5). We're young professionals, Kuba has just finished his PhD, I work for a Tech start-up in Operations, and Dusty's an ex-racing greyhound. We met through student accommodation a couple of years ago and have been friends and housemates ever since. Whether the kitchen, the common area, or the garden, we want the space to feel like home. We also do plans all together occasionally and would love to bring someone on board who is keen on making the house more homely.
The location 📍:
We are 5-10 minutes away from New Cross/New Cross Gate and Brockley with amazing local pubs and parks nearby.
The house 🏡:
It’s a 3 bed with 1 bath on the bottom floor and 1 toilet on the top one. We also have a small living room and a beautiful garden to make a great barbecue (on the odd day the weather allows it!).
There’s a good amount of storage around the house should you need it. The letting agency has been okay so far and we’ve had no issues here :)
The room 🛏️:
It’s a big-sized double room that comfortably fits a chest of drawers, a wardrobe, a desk, and a double bed. The room was unfurnished when we moved in. However, the leaving flatmate can leave the furniture if needed.
Looking for ✨:
We are looking for one person aged 22+ to join us (no couples please). Must love animals. We don’t mind if you WFH and in fact, Kuba and Carlos regularly do. We would love someone who is very easy-going, friendly, up for a laugh and to make the occasional plan.
Rent/bills/contract 💸:
Move-in date: 21st July
Rent: £825
Bills: around £150 per month (council tax, broadband, electric/gas, water)
Contract: We’ve signed a 1-year contract until May 2025.
