Spare room in a 2-bed flat in New Cross, Lewisham

Looking for a sharer to move in to my flat in New Cross Gate for a short-term let, with potential for longer-term.

The current tenancy will end on 30th September 2024. This presents two options for potential flatmates:

1. Short-term (August - September): Join for the remaining period of the current tenancy.
2. Long-term (From 1st October): Take over the flat with a new tenancy agreement. This would involve setting up a new contract with the landlord, either as a single occupant or finding another flatmate to share with.

This could be ideal for someone looking for a short-term let or wanting to try out the area before committing long-term.

About the flat:
It's in a great location near Goldsmiths University with plenty going on and good transport links. It's a 4 min walk to New Cross Gate (Overground), 8 min walk to New Cross (Overground), a 13 min walk to Deptford Bridge (DLR), and an 8 min walk to the nearest big supermarket (Sainsbury's).

The flat is fully furnished, all white goods incl. a dishwasher. You'd just need to furnish your bedroom. There's a large shared bathroom, but since my room has an en-suite you would pretty much have it to yourself unless we had people over.

Bills are not included but they come to ~£150, including electric, heating & hot water, and internet. The flat is warm and needs very little heating. Council Tax band C.

I'm a software engineer who moved to London in June 2023. Friendly, easygoing, and tidy. I work from home most days.
