Spacious Double Bedroom in Modern Two-Storey Flat

Hey there!

I'm a laid back, easy going guy looking for someone to take over my flatmate's room from April onwards. It's a spacious, double bedroom in a large two-storey flat, with 3 bathrooms (one large bathroom downstairs with a shower/bath, one en suite in my room, and one guest bathroom upstairs) in New Cross/Deptford. Both bedrooms are situated on the first floor and the living room and kitchen upstairs.

The flat itself is a new build in a good area, and less than two years old. We were the first tenants in, so it's all still immaculate and comes with full ammentities - washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, induction hobs, plus plenty of cupboard and storage space. We're on the second floor the building itself and there's also a bike store on the groundfloor, with access to the building via keyfob for security and mailboxes by the front door.

We're just a 5-10 minute walk away from New Cross, and from there just a 6 minute train ride directly to London Bridge - so great for transport links. Deptford also isn't fair at just around a 10 minute walk, so there's lots of train options between Network Rail, overground and the DLR. A walk to Greenwich from the flat takes around 20 minutes too.

I'm a working professional and looking for someone similar to share with. I'm a huge lover cinema, tech, art, travel and photograph, and run a cocktail bar in Chelsea four days a week and freelance as a Bar Manager/Consultant for the events industry on the side, as well as being a freelance writer and producer. I'm ideally looking for another fellow creative, or someone equally socialable and interested in art, films, music or tech, and someone tidy, easygoing and responsible.

The room itself comes unfurnished - however my old flatmate has said she's happy to leave behind her bedframe and mattress for £100 if requested. Happy to liaise with this if needed! Otherwise the freedom to decorate is all yours. (The rest of the flat is already sorted, so no worries there!)
