Double Room to rent: Beautiful spacious apartment

Hey there!

We are a laid back couple living in New Cross looking to rent the second bedroom in our two bedroom flat. We both really enjoy living in the flat and the area is perfect, therefore we are looking to fill our current flatmate's bedroom as she is moving abroad for work.



The flat and bedroom are fully furnished with all other necessities, including a dishwasher! We are happy to accommodate for other personal belongings where possible.

We have superfast fibre optic broadband.
Is situated a 2 minute walk from New Cross Station which is very well connected (5 minutes to London Bridge, 15 minutes to Shoreditch/Dalston on the overground). There are tons of nightbuses with connections to all over London within 2 minutes walks from door!

Is a short walk away from Goldsmiths University, Greenwich (incredible place for culture and food), Deptford (Really local vibrant markets, nice bars/pubs and growing Deptford project within mere walking distance) and Brockley (affluent area, lovely parks and an excellent food market).

You will have primary use of main bathroom which is fitted with bath and attached shower. The flat offers a large living room space, kitchen, half of an office space (see pictures attached). We also have access to communal outside space to hang clothes and enjoy the sun.

We have a projector so would like to welcome someone to join us for the occasional movie night and watch the odd TV series if you’re into that sort of thing. We generally take it easy mid-week but do enjoy to let our hair down come the weekend, but not every week.

A bit about us:
I am a Primary school teacher/musician and my partner is a literature producer, both aged 25. We are clean and socially minded people who work hard in the week and like to enjoy what life has to offer in and around that.
Happy to let to students although you would need to pay council tax, of which we would get a 25% deduction. Which would mean cheaper bills!

Ultimately we would like someone who is friendly, easy-going, considerate, social, respectful and clean! We are very respectful of space and privacy and expect somebody who can do the same.

The deposit is 6 weeks rent
