Single room in quiet maisonette - N11

Hi, I’m renting out a furnished single room in a comfortable ground-floor maisonette in New Southgate.

The room has recently been painted and fitted with a new carpet, and it is available immediately.

The rent is £680 pcm which includes council tax, wifi, gas, electricity, water and driveway parking for a car. If you work from home most days, there would be an additional £30 per month contribution towards gas and electricity.

The house is fully furnished, so you won’t need to bring much with you. Bedding can also be provided if needed.

The maisonette has a spacious kitchen, especially useful if you enjoy cooking, and the shower/toilet room would be shared with one other person: my 26-year-old son, who lives in the property throughout the year and works full time. I am the owner and will be living abroad for around six months of the year.

The room is initially available for 3 months, with the possibility of extending longer-term if it works well for everyone.

Transport links are convenient, with a bus stop right outside the house offering routes to Arnos Grove (6 min) and Southgate (12 min) tube stations. There are also additional bus routes around 300 metres away.

No smoking inside the house, but smoking is allowed on the back patio.

A one-month deposit is required, but I’m happy for this to be split over the first two months. The deposit will be returned at the end of the stay, subject to the room being left in good condition.
