Large room in Newham house

We are looking for a flatmate to join us in our 3 bedroom house in Plaistow.

Our current housemate is moving closer to her new job, so myself (27/professional) and my housemate Roisin (38/professional) are looking for someone to take her room. We are both quiet, clean and considerate housemates and would like to live with someone who is the same. Whilst we treat this as our home, so may have a friend over every now and again, this is definitely not a party house. We are very friendly and do like a catch up every now and again, and think it's important to support each other, but also are quite busy doing our own thing.

The house is a cosy terrace in the middle of a residential area (we have lovely neighbours) with good connections to the city. Upton Park and Plaistow station (District/Hammersmith&City) are a 15min walk away, and there are buses to Stratford and Canning Town right down the street. There is also the N15 from Trafalgar which drops you off at the end of our road which is great for night-workers or a night out. Theres some off licences and takeaways nearby (2min walk), and also a Tesco express down the street (8min away).

Your room would be our largest, a double with bed, drawers and desk included (and plenty of room for more furniture). We have a shared living room, kitchen (cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave) and bathroom (bath/shower). We also have a garden which needs some TLC but is nice to relax in over the summer. Smoking is okay but only outside the house.

Our house is fairly old, so if you like everything shiny and brand new this is not for you, however we think the house has a lovely homey character and has allowed us to put our stamp on it... plus it is the cheapest rent around!

Bills are included, so there is just a lump sum of £480 each month. There is no long-term contract, we just require 1 months notice should you ever need to move again. Our housemate is moving out end of January, so the room would be available from 1st February.

I do have two cats, so you would need to be okay with pets. They are very friendly, completely house trained, and mostly stay downstairs (your room is upstairs). If you have a cat who gets along with other cats that could be okay!
