Spacious Double Room in Friendly Home in Newham

Hi there!

I’m looking for a friendly, considerate housemate to join my lovely three-bedroom house in Plaistow, Newham. A spacious, well-equipped double room is available and ready to move into.

The house is shared with one other housemate and myself, but I’m only around about 8 nights a month (usually mid-week due to work, travel, and family commitments). So most of the time, you’ll be sharing the entire house with just one other person, which makes it feel relaxed and not crowded.

About the house & room:
- Large master double bedroom (~16 sqm) - single occupancy
- Plenty of storage in the room and around the house
- New bed and mattress
- Desk and chair
- Shared bathroom upstairs + additional toilet downstairs
- Fully renovated just a few years ago
- Calm, homely vibe - definitely not a party house
- Quiet cul-de-sac near West Ham Park
- 8-10 min walk to Plaistow Station, or a short bus ride to Stratford
- Bills (utilities, council tax, internet) included
- Weekly cleaner for shared areas

Your future housemate:
You’ll be sharing mainly with a friendly Italian professional in her 40s. She works long hours (with a couple of WFH days) and is often out at weekends. She enjoys music, cinema, reading, and yoga. We sometimes share a meal or a glass of wine when we’re both around, but everyone is respectful of space and downtime.

We’re mostly looking for someone who’s:
- Easy-going, tidy, and considerate
- Happy in a quiet, relaxed home
- Looking for a place that feels comfortable rather than just somewhere to sleep
