We have a double bedroom available in our four-bedroom home in Canning Town, E13 — about a 7-minute walk from Canning Town station. Amazing connections: Jubilee line (Zone 2/3 but charged as Zone 2), DLR to Bank, and lots of buses into the city.
This isn’t your typical house share — it’s very much a home 💛
We’re two sisters (33 & 38) and we’ve lived here together for 10 years. We’re looking for the right person — someone who wants a warm, friendly, lived-in space rather than just a room.
The house:
• Four bedrooms
• Separate cozy living room
• Fully equipped kitchen (help yourself to everything)
• Two bathrooms
• Backyard with BBQ + hammock 🌿
• One bedroom is our shared office (we both work remotely)
We’re creative, chatty, and social. We love movies, music, dancing in the kitchen, little creative projects, and the occasional small gathering with friends. Our big party days are behind us — but we do enjoy a glass of wine and good conversation in the evenings 🍷
The room:
• Double bedroom (downstairs, window facing the backyard)
• Available from 1st March 2026
• Furnished: double bed + mattress, wardrobe, desk & chair, mirror, chest of drawers
(Unfurnished can be arranged)
Rent:
£850 per month + bills
Bills usually £120–£150 depending on the season (includes internet, gas, electricity, heating & council tax)
A few important bits:
• We have a 10-year-old cat, Panda — the king of the house 🐾
• We smoke inside the house, so you’d need to be comfortable with that
• Ideally looking for a woman aged 22–42
• Clean, respectful, emotionally mature, and someone who enjoys keeping a cozy, cared-for home
This would suit someone who wants a friendly, communal vibe — not a silent, anonymous house share.
We’re flexible with viewings and move-in dates (ideally early March, but can discuss).
