Due to some unexpected personal matters, I will need to return to my home country urgently for a period of time. As a result, I am looking for someone to take over my room so that the space does not remain empty. I have been living in this flat for nearly three years and have always enjoyed staying here, so this decision was not made lightly. Because I will be away and still responsible for the rent, I am hoping to find a suitable person to move in and share the flat.
The property is located in Canning Town and is only about a five-minute walk from Canning Town Underground Station and 15 min walk to Custom House station for Elizabeth Line. The location is very convenient for commuting. If you work around London Bridge, the commute is straightforward and typically takes around 15 minutes via the Jubilee Line. It is a very practical location for professionals working in central London and Canary Wharf.
The flat itself is situated on the seventh floor of a modern apartment building. The layout is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, and the room available comes with its own separate bathroom. The bedroom is a comfortable double room with good space. The flat is also a corner unit, which means the living room and kitchen area are noticeably larger and brighter compared to many standard two-bedroom apartments. The living room has access to a balcony where you can enjoy some fresh air and open views.
The room is fully furnished and ready to move in. It includes a double bed, wardrobe, desk, chair and even a monitor, which are all available for use. The kitchen is fully equipped with integrated appliances and will be shared with the other tenant. The building also offers good facilities, including a concierge service that can help receive parcels when you are not home. There is a rooftop terrace available for residents, as well as a shared garden area on the ground floor where you can relax. Within walking distance there are also parks and green spaces nearby.
Daily life here is quite convenient. Within a short walking distance you will find several supermarkets including Lidl, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, and a Chinese supermarket. There are also cafés, restaurants, and places such as McDonald’s and Starbucks and Pure Gym nearby, so getting food or daily essentials is very easy.
The current flatmate is a 28-year-old male working professional. He has a regular routine, is very quiet and respectful, and does not host parties. In his free time he usually goes to the gym or cooks at home. During the three years I have lived here, we have always had a very stable and easy living arrangement with no conflicts, so it has been a comfortable and peaceful environment.
The current tenancy runs until September, and if you like the flat you may have the option to renew the contract with the landlord afterwards. The council tax band for the property is Band D.
I am hoping to find someone who is also a working professional and respectful of shared living spaces. If you are interested or would like to know more details about the room or the flat, please feel free to get in touch.
