Cosy double room available in bright airy house

Hello!


We are looking for a 3rd person to share our lovely Newington Green home, available from the end of July. The room is a small, cosy, quiet double looking out over the garden. Due to its size, it is probably more suited to someone who doesn’t work from home. Although labelled as "unfurnished", the previous occupant is open to discussing selling some of her furniture, including the bed. The room also comes with a great in-built wardrobe.

The house is in a lovely, quiet part of Newington Green, with amazing restaurants, bars and pubs minutes away. We are between Newington Green (2-3 minute walk) and Dalston (about a 7 minute walk to Dalston Kingsland overground) and within walking distance of Stoke Newington Church Street and Clissold Park.

We are:

Mikey (31) - Works in film/TV and loves spending time with friends at pubs, going out to eat and seeing an art exhibition or live music. Also a keen runner. Has lived here for over 2 years.

Emily (34) - Musician and music therapist, who increasingly enjoys all things wholesome such as yoga, walks in the park and reading, but also loves going to the pub and eating yummy food. Has lived here since December 2023.

The house also has a big bright kitchen, a huge living room and garden, as well as a bathroom and separate toilet. It’s very light and open and has lots of storage throughout. We’re a friendly, sociable house, who all get on well and occasionally hang out together, but it’s definitely not a party house.

We are looking for someone calm, conscientious and friendly, who’s a similar age to us (late twenties to mid-thirties), and perhaps also working in a creative field. We like to keep the house clean and tidy and have a weekly cleaning rota.

The room is £750 a month, plus bills. An absolute steal for the area!
