Cozy room in vibrant Stokey ❀

Dear room hunter!

I’m moving out of my peaceful Stoke Newington home just off vibrant Newington Green, and I’m looking for a young, ideally working professional to take over my lovely room in the 4-bed house share.

THE AREA is full of gems:
🌳 The house is a ten-minute walk from Clissold Park that has loads of green space (perfect for dog-watching) and Church Street which is home to various local shops, bars and restaurants.
🍜 There is a Tesco express right by the house and being close to Dalston which has a shopping centre, there really is everything you need within a 15-minute walk.
🚏 Closest tube stations are Canonbury and Highbury & Islington. Buses 141 and 341 take you to London Bridge and Waterloo, while 476 and 73 drop you off at King’s Cross and Euston Station.
🚴🏽‍♀️ Cycling is very easy; there is even a bike shop down the corner. They are super sweet.

THE HOME is bright and quiet:
🛋️ Big windows and skylights make the space very well lit. The living room faces the back garden, it has a TV, a comfy sofa, and space for one bike. The kitchen is well equipped, great for cooking, and kitchenware is shared, so you wouldn’t need to buy any of the basics. There is a small basement under the staircase which makes an ideal storage place for items you don’t often use. Best part is the 2 bathrooms, one has a bathtub, the other a shower, and both have a toilet so you there are no queues!
👯 You’d be living with three working professionals in their late twenties, early thirties. Dana is a set-designer, Charlie works as a pollster, and Jake is in tax recruitment working from home most of the time. Bills are between £100-150, with each person responsible for one bill. We use Splitwise to track finances.

THE ROOM is cozy:
🪟 Its centre piece is a big window that faces the garden, so you can see some greenery, squirrels, and the neighbour’s cat upon its occasional visit. The walls were painted recently, so it looks pretty neat. The room comes furnished but some pieces of furniture in the pictures belong to me.

The rent is £852 / month.

Move-in-date is 15 March.
