Home in Newington Green

Hi, myself, Anny (29, lived in Munich & Berlin) and Sam (32, near London based) are moving into a beautiful house in Newington Green on April 1st. We’re looking for one more person to join us, with a move-in either April 1st ideally or April 15th (Rent is £1100 per month all in.)

Queer-friendly & Open-minded.

We both combine creative and more normal corporate worlds.
I work in innovation at Arup with a background in design engineering, Sam works as an Senior Account Manager and is building her small textile business. I am really into techno, alternative music and festivals and drawing. I like to go running, have ClassPass, do lots of yoga & meditation & have interest in psychology and philosophy as well.

The house honestly feels like a bit of a dream and we want to make it a warm, intentional and inspiring space.
Think cooking together, coffee and tea, music in the background, evenings in the garden, BBQs in summer, plants, books and small creative corners that evolve over time.

We’re both social and open, but also need our space. Some days we hang out, cook or chat, other days we just recharge in our rooms or focus on our own projects. Both should feel natural.

Not a party flat, not a silent one. More a calm, inspiring home with good energy.

Someone who has their own life and rhythm, brings a passion or curiosity for something, and values a respectful and thoughtful home. You don’t need to be “creative” by job.

Not the right fit if you’re looking for a very party-heavy flat or constant guests. We would of course like to build a friendship & would like to share our friendships but obviously not in an overdosed way.

There are 4 rooms across four floors, living room and kitchen with a sunny south-facing garden, two storage spaces, plus a top floor loft with a beautiful city view we’d love to turn into a shared space as well.

The landlord family owns the house, we already know them and their daughter quite well. They keep one very small room as security instead of a deposit, but they don't use it (they recently had a bad experience with their previous tenants). This is where that decision comes from.

We’re getting quite a few messages, so it really helps if you share a bit about yourself, what your life looks like and what you’re into.
