Bright 1-bed close to Dalston!

I have a lovely 1 bed flat to rent. It's at the bottom of Green Lanes (N16), near Newington Green and Dalston and its shops and restaurants, and just up from Tesco which also has a cashpoint.

I live in Australia and the rent is currently reduced owing to it being on the market for sale.

It's a loft extension and there are two other flats in the building with a barber shop on the ground floor. He doesn't mind taking deliveries for you when you're out!

My flat is the top (2nd) floor and when you go through the flat door there's an extra flight of stairs with a huge Velux window letting loads of light in. The extra flight really makes you feel removed from the rest of the building.

I've rented the flat out for the last several years but used to live there myself. I'm in touch with both other flat owners in the building and both are lovely. There's a managing agent for the communal areas so things get sorted quickly if something goes wrong outside the flats. You just have to contact me whenever there's a problem inside the flat - I have a handyman and plumber/electrician who are close by.

The flat itself has a double bedroom (bring your own bed), shower room, open plan kitchen/lounge, storage cupboard on the stairs, and Velux windows which open wide to give lovely views of the surrounding area. It is not overlooked so you can walk around without clothes on if you like ;)

It's part furnished (sofa, TV stand, slim bookcase, built-in washing machine and fridge/freezer) and I'm happy if you want to bring in more furniture to accommodate your needs. Just please ask first if you would like to put up shelves or pictures.

Transport links are brilliant:

- 10/15 mins by bus to Angel, Highbury, Old Street or Shoreditch
- 5/10 min walk to Canonbury for Overground
- 20 mins to City and London Bridge
- 15 mins to Turnpike Lane/Wood Green

And it's close to the wide open spaces of Clissold Park and the peaceful coffee spot of Newington Green itself.
