Sadly, one of our housemates is taking a new step in his life and relocating so we're looking for a professional to take over his room. It is a cosy double bedroom for single occupancy in a big Victorian terraced house. The room contains a double bed frame, drawers and a couple shelves.
The House:
Ground floor has a living room with TV (Virgin Media channels and broadband), a bedroom, a toilet and a big fully fitted kitchen leading to the small garden.
First floor has another toilet, shower room, two other bedrooms and your potential bedroom, and finally a sun-trap rooftop terrace upstairs ready for the summer ;-)
We are located on a quiet road off Wandsworth Road, a 10 minutes walk from Vauxhall (Victoria Line Zone 1/2) and Stockwell (Northern and Victoria Line Zone 2). There is a huge Sainsbury’s 5 minutes walk from us and a Local Tesco and PureGym 2 minutes walk, and other useful amenities on Wandsworth Road - SW8.
The People:
You will be living with three (beautiful) gay guys;
Shaun is a management consultant,
Kevin is in Retail
Ben is a civil servant.
About you:
We are looking for a professional male (preferably gay) between 25 and 40 years old to fit nicely into our fold, we will consider all applicants.
Must-have qualities are cleanliness, respectful and tidy. Bonus points for DIY skills as we take care the house in exchange for the affordable rent.
We are very friendly, enjoy socialising of an evening but also like our privacy, occasionally having dinner and a drink or two. We aren't a crazy party house, but sometimes have gatherings of our friends and do enjoy a good night out. Weekdays are reserved for quiet evenings, as we all work Monday-Friday.
The details:
The room will be available from 1st December 2022 and the rent is £650 (plus a month deposit in advance) and includes all the bills (council tax, TV, broadband, electricity, gas, water, weekly cleaner, toilet roll and even Fairy Liquid!).
