Double room in Zone 1 near Nine Elms Tube Station

We are looking for a new flatmate in our flat in the Nine Elms/Stockwell area (SW8). The flat is just a 3 min walk from Nine Elms tube station (Northern), 10 min walk to Vauxhall (Victoria).

About the flat (it looks bigger in person)!

The current move in date is between 20-25th September. The contract has 6 months left to run from September 25th, and we cannot guarantee, but there may be the option to extend this in March. The room itself has multiple storage units (wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table, and storage under the bed) with a double bed and double-glazed windows. Additionally a storage closet outside of the room, which can be used for shoes and any other items. The desk will be available but we could always get rid of it if you’d like the extra open space instead.

The flat is a lovely open plan space with a shared living room and separate kitchen. The kitchen is a good size which loads of storage space and two fridges with a freezer, washing machine oven and microwave.

We have a small balcony decorated with AstroTurf which is (just) big enough for 3 people to enjoy sitting out on in the morning or a summer's evening.

Both of us are young professionals who met via SpareRoom working in Data and Political Risk Insurance. We’ve lived here for just under two years. I’m a big traveller and love talking about experiences and learning about new places. We are both sports, films, and music fans also. We like hanging out together, listening to music, watching films, going for a drink etc but we have our own lives and also enjoy having our own relaxed downtime, so ideally we are looking for someone who would fit into this dynamic well!

We both work hybrid hours in the office and at home which vary, but tend to be 3/4 days per week in the office. So there are no issues with regard to working from home.
